Probably more scared though at this point. I’m glad I don’t have much time to think during the day right now. (Did I just say that? Yeah, its probably for the best…) If I did I don’t know how I’d get through it. Last time I wrote, I was in Africa. Now? Tampa, FL. Apparently travel comes with this whole bag.
A friend asked me to come check something out here in Tampa for him. I’d rather not say who, actually, since I don’t know who to trust anymore and who knows who might see this. I actually am changing the title of this little blog too. Its not going to have my name on it. Someone could use that against me. I don’t know how. So I thought that I should use a pseudonym from now on. Given what’s happenned to me, I thought I might go with Instar. It seemed appropriate since its Latin for change.
Maybe I should start at the beginning.
I was sent here by my friend to look into some Terragen activity for him. Not do anything about it…just look into it and see what was going on. Immediately upon arriving here we were beset upon by Terragen attacks from some guy who must be absolutely insane (some of my…companions…would probably be good friends with him…but I digress) and tried to level Tampa with a hurricane. I’m sure that was in the news.
As we were trying to escape that, we learned that a building at the University of Tampa exploded. Our driver had a daughter there so we offered to help. It turned out there were a bunch of kids who were actually trying to become novas. (Don’t ask me why)
And as we come to find out also, Tyler (who I can’t stand anyway), chopped off an innocent kid’s arm for no reason. Or really because he was scared. Which is an awful reason. We have tremendous power now. The best of intentions can lead to terrible consequences and I don’t even think he has the best of intentions. This is going to be a problem. There’s no time to deal with it at the moment, however.
During all of the commotion, the people who we thought were Project Utopia came at us with guns blazing. A little luck saved us…but then Team Tommorrow arrived and explained what was really going on. apparently we’d been duped by some people called the Shadow League. Very nice. But at least that means the real Project Utopia isn’t creepy. Team Tommorrow isn’t at least.
The mayer sent a friend of his to have us watch his kids. Immediately when we got there the aforementioned acid beast attacked. I learned something too. Well, a couple things. Acid really hurts. And I’m going to have to get a lot better at this if I want to survive. I’m lucky I had people with me.
I can’t say where I’m at now. We’re still protecting these children and there’s still someone else out to get them. But I will write again when I can.

The last time I wrote something here, I was on vacation on a resort island. Now I’m in Africa. I’m actually at Doug’s camp. Oh, where should I start? Oh, yeah…I have a tail. Yes, I’ve discovered I’m a Nova. Dr. Ross, who had her whole life ahead of her, is a Nova. It happenned on that island. I don’t care to relive the whole thing here, but suffice to say, it was a jarring experience. I don’t think I’ve fully come to grips with this yet. Check that, I haven’t.
Then the dolts I got stuck with got me stuck out here in Africa. I don’t trust that Project Utopia one bit and as soon as we wake up from a week of who knows what they were doing to us, what happens? Our genius associates volunteer us to go to Africa where they just had some people killed to try and do what they failed to do. I’m not even sure what we did other than not die.
By some sort of good fortune, Doug was in Africa when we finished what we came here to do so we abandoned Project Utopia. I don’t think they’re going to be very happy but there’s no way I’m going back there. Its weird, there must have been something really wrong with Mr. Gibbons because he didn’t even notice my tail. He did ask if I could help him with something though, so I agreed to go to Tampa for him.
Oh, I guess I should mention what I can apparently do. Aside from this tail…I can shapeshift and disrupt other Nova’s abilities. It could be worse I guess. When I figure out how, I’ll let you know.
I’ve always been in complete control…how can something like this happen to me?

Ever since I arrived at this resort island, I’ve seen the oddest things! Talk about cats and dogs literally living together. The plant and animal diversity that I’ve observed here isn’t only incredible but entirely unatural. It doesn’t make any sense at all. So far I’ve seen :
Something is very off here. I don’t know whether to be excited or concerned or maybe even a little of both.
Not that my companions seem to care. I’m not sure why I let them drag me on this trip anyway. I guess it could be fun if I were with my friends but instead I’m stuck with one guy who’s completely paranoid and another that’s a complete pig! Not everyone is off their rocker at least.
And of course noone cares about my observations. Ah well, to be expected I guess.
